Led by coach Sally Hunter, no women’s volleyball team in the region dominated the 1969-70 season like Oregon State.
The team was a perfect 21-0 during the regular season, including four match victories over Oregon, and advanced to the “Sweet 16” of the national tournament.
The roster included Mary Bates, Linda Lewman, Sue Lonsford, Mary Paczesniak, Patti Perkins, Terry Paddon, Sherry Sevall, Aleen Swofford, Betty Woodward, Mary Bjore, Connie Bruneau, Chris Jensen, Kathy Jones, Andi Konow, Nancy Middagle, Joyce Read, Lyla Voth, and Kathy Wu
