Oregon State Athletics has created a variety of initiatives to help create a stronger sense of belonging among our staff, coaches, and student-athletes. As we aim to be as inclusive as possible, we remain open to having further conversations about affinity spaces, and promise to continue working towards creating a culture where all people are seen, heard, and valued.

- Beaver Advocates: Appointed student-athletes serve as team liaisons and contacts between the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) and their team. The group meets regularly with a concentrated focus on education and bystander intervention training with regard to sexual assault and violence prevention.
- Dam Change: A platform created by Black student-athletes with the mission to use sports as the vehicle to bring awareness, education, and understanding as it relates to systemic racism in the United States.Â
- Real Talk: A subset of Dam Change, Real Talk serves as an affinity space for Black student-athletes and all student-athletes of color to have real and raw conversations about a variety of topics.
- International Student-Athlete Club: An affinity group for international student-athletes to allow them to connect and create a home away from home.
- PAC 12 Impact Group: A working group of all designated Chief Diversity/Equity officers at each PAC 12 institution.
