OREGON STATE: (2004) Tessa is one of the premier goal-scorers on the West Coast... needs six points to climb into OSU's career top-10 points list - she currently has 32 on 14 goals and four assists... 14 career goals is 10th all-time... one of 18 returning letterwinners and 13 returning starters... former prep teammates Stacey Mescher and Alison Vislay are OSU teammates... coach Fennah's comments: "Tessa has proven herself and is recovering from her shoulder surgery. She's a special player who has the ability to score a lot of goals." (2003) Tessa made remarkable strides from her freshman to sophomore years, posting 25 points on 11 goals and three assists... ranked fifth in Pac-10 scoring and third in goals... second-team All-Pac-10 pick... Pac-10 Player of the Week for Sept. 7 after a goal and assist in a 3-1 win over San Francisco and two scores in a 4-2 win over Idaho... 25 points is the fifth-highest season total in school history; 11 goals is tied for fourth. It has taught me so much about life and how to approach it and deal with it. It's my release and it clears my mind when I play."... first thing Baker would do if she were President for a day is, "buy my mom a house or give her one of mine."
