OREGON STATE (2004) Alyssa begins her career at OSU this fall. coach Fennah's comments: "Alyssa is quick and is a smart soccer player; she takes people on. We feel she's one of the top three players in the state of Oregon this year."
FC PORTLAND GREEN (CLUB): Led the team in scoring in 2001 and 2002... played four years.
JESUIT: Team lost only five games in her four years... in 2003, second-team All-State, first-team all-league, league MVP and led league in goals and assists... second-team all-league as a junior... honor roll student.
PERSONAL: Born in Oregon... daughter of Maisie and Jim Blackwell... family includes brothers Troy (24) and Brett (19)... parents own a preschool... four former prep teammates play collegiately... biggest athletic thrill was winning two state championships at Jesuit... something she'd like to accomplish is to travel Europe... what she loves about soccer are "the skills involved and the competition.
