Morgan Crabtree, a former standout student-athlete on the Oregon State women's soccer team, enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Beavers program. Crabtree joined Oregon State after three seasons as an assistant coach at Idaho.
As an assistant at Oregon State, Crabtree is responsible for all facets of coaching as she plays an integral role in recruiting student-athletes, organizing team travel and assisting in the planning and implementation of team training sessions.
As a student-athlete at Oregon State, Crabtree spent her playing days as a center midfielder for the Beavers, earning All-Pac-10 honorable mention selections during her sophomore and junior seasons. She also was a first-team All-Academic honoree during her junior and senior seasons as she graduated with a degree in philosophy in 2003.
Her playing experience continued after college as she spent two summers as a member of the New Hampshire Phantoms of the WLeague.
Crabtree currently holds a United States Soccer Foundation National "D" License and has had extensive coaching experience at the club, high school and Olympic development level.
She served as an assistant coach for the Idaho ODP 92 Girls team and worked with the Region IV ODP during the summer of 2006.
Crabtree began her coaching career in 2003 with the Oregon United Soccer Academy and continued as a coach at Tigard (Ore.) High School in 2004. She has also served as a coach with the Lake Oswego Soccer Club for the 2004-05 season and the Moscow United U18 girls soccer team.
Crabtree is married to Dane Christian, a former volunteer assistant coach with the Beavers.
