AS A SOPHOMORE (2001): Did not officially compete as a sophomore, although she performed six exhibition routineson bars... Had a top score of 9.675 against UCLA with an average of 9.279 in those six routines.
AS A FRESHMAN (2000): Vaulted in two meets (three counting one exhibition)... Her top score was a 9.20 at Brigham Young.
PRE-OREGON STATE: Has been involved in gymnastics since 1987... Competed at the Level 10 Nationals for the first time in 1999 and finished 23rd on floor... Was seventh on bars, floor and all-around at the 1999 Level 10 Regional meet... Graduated from The Bishop's School as an honor roll student... Earned Maxima and Summa Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam.
PERSONAL: Born in La Jolla, California... Daughter of Donna and Howard Dixon... Has a four brothers and sisters, Ross, Anne, Eric and Leigh... Leigh is a gymnast at the University of Minnesota and Anne was a gymnast at UCLA... Her dad was on the track team at Marquette from 1965-68... Exercise and sport science major... Chose OSU for the "kindness of the gymnastics team, the academics and the location."
