AS A JUNIOR (2001): Missed most of the season after rupturing her right Achilles' while competing on floor against California on Jan. 28... It was her second career Achilles' injury; she ruptured her left one in high school prior to coming to OSU... Competed as an all-arounder in all four meets that she was able to participate in... Scored a season-high 9.70 on vault, a season and career-high tying 9.90 on bars and career-high 9.85 on beam in that meet against Cal before suffering the injury on the floor exercise in that competition... Named to the 2001 Pac-10 All-Academic Team as an honorable mention pick and was also an NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honoree.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2000): Competed on vault, bars and floor for the Beavers... Was named Co-Most Consistent Gymnast on Bars and Floor by the coaching staff... Her 9.842 average on floor was best on the team and her 9.648 average on bars was third best on the squad... Averaged 9.664 on vault... Scored 9.85 or better on floor five times, highlighted by a career-best 9.95 to tie for first at the Shanico Inn-vitational... Also had a new career-best on bars with a 9.875 twice, against Arizona and Stanford... Her top score on vault was a 9.775, which she scored at three different meets... Earned honorable mention Pacific-10 All-Academic Team recognition.
AS A FRESHMAN (1999): Was voted the team's Rookie of the Year by the coaches... Competed on beam and floor in every meet and on bars in every meet but one... By the end of the season, she made the vault lineup and was an all-arounder in the last three meets... Best event was floor, averaging a team-best 9.781... Scored a career-high 9.90 on floor against Utah and scored a 9.80 or better nine times... Placed first on floor three times (at Boise State, vs. Callifornia, and at Nebraska with BYU)... Her best all-around effort was a 38.850 against Utah... Scored a career-high 9.825 on beam against Utah and averaged a 9.594 on the event for the season... Averaged a 9.675 in three meets on vault, with her best mark of 9.80 coming at the Pac-10 Championships... Top score on bars also was a 9.80 in a meet against California.
PRE-OREGON STATE: Member of the Philippines National Team... Represented the Philippines at the 1997 World Championships in Switzerland... Trained under coach Don Peters at SCATS... Was a four-year honor roll student at Ganesha High School.
