Dole, O'Brien End Season at NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Texas - Jenni Dole and Rachel O'Brien finished their season Saturday in the final day of competition at the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming Championships at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.
Dole competed in the 200-yard backstroke event Saturday morning and finished 44th overall with a time of 1:58.41. She set the Oregon State school record in the event previously this season but did not advance to the event finals.
Dole ends her junior campaign as the team leader in dual wins on the season with 13. Along with setting the 200 backstroke school record, she set the school record in the 100 backstroke and was a part of the group that set the school record in the 200 freestyle relay.
O'Brien competed in the 200 butterfly in the preliminary rounds on Saturday and finished 37th overall with a time of 1:59.27. She ends her sophomore season having set personal bests in the 50, 500 and 1,000 freestyle events along with the 200 butterfly.
