Espinoza Earns Pac-12 Honorable Mention
November 10, 2015 | Women's Soccer
CORVALLIS – Oregon State women's soccer defender Greta Espinoza has been named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Espinoza started all 19 games at centerback for the Beavers, helping provide stability for the Oregon State back line after junior Kathryn Baker was lost early in the season due to injury. Espinoza helped lead the Beavers to five clean sheets on the year in her first season after transferring to OSU. The junior has provided a threat on set pieces all season, and score her Oregon State goal off a corner kick against USC on Sept. 26.
The Pre-Business major has also earned significant experience with the Mexican National Team, competing for her country at this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup.
