
Three Beavers Finish in Top-24 on Day Three of Pac-12 Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash - The Oregon State women's swimming team continued day three of the Pac-12 Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. Friday saw three swimmers finish in the top 24, including 11 personal-best times posted. The Beavers conclude day three in ninth place with 184 points.

Both Andrea Young and Corrine Shigeta both started the day moving their names up the Oregon State top-10 list in the 100-breaststroke. Young finished with a time in 1:02.38 in the prelims to hold the No. 3 fastest time, while Shigeta recorded a 19th place finish in the C-finals with a time of 1:02.18, which is the No. 2 time at Oregon State.

In the 100-backstroke, Felicia Anderson finished the prelims with a time of 54.90, which puts her at No. 5 for the fast time at Oregon State.

In the final event of the day, the Oregon State 400-medley relay shaved almost three seconds off their season-best in a tight race with Utah and Washington State to end the night's competition.

The Pac-12 Championships will conclude on Saturday evening with the finals.
