Seven Season Bests Set in Los Angeles

Beavers fall to USC and Minnesota
Los Angeles, Calif. – The Beavers fell to No. 11 USC and No. 16 Minnesota on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.
Three Beavers set career bests in four different events throughout the meet. Kristina Schneider led the way with one in the 50 free (24.49) and the 100 fly (58.26). Amina Bachir set a career best in her first event of the afternoon, the 1000 free, by almost three seconds to finish with a time of 10:40.80.
Junior Fernanda Rodriguez rounded out the career best at Oregon State list with a new personal record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:22.68.
Four season bests were also set on Friday afternoon. Two were accomplished during the 200 free when junior Arianna Letrari and sophomore Riley Neal beat their season bests swimming 1:55.51 and 1:56.41 respectively.
Neal also swam a season best in the 500 free to finish her afternoon on a high note.
Junior Felicia Anderson was the final Beaver to swim a season best, accomplishing the feat in the 200 back.
Oregon State will return to the pool tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at UCLA.
