Carson Barry Leads Men’s Golf On Final Day In Washington

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Carson Barry shot a 3-under 68 to pace the Oregon State men's golf team at the final round of the 2022 Pac-12 Championships at the Aldarra Golf Club.
Barry's 3-under Wednesday propelled him to the team's top finish. He shot a 2-over 286 at the par-71, 6,979-yard club, which put him into a tie for 10th-place to end the event. Barry finished with seven birdies Wednesday, including five on the back nine, to total a tournament-best 19 over the 72 holes of play.
The 10th-place tie marks his third tournament in the top 15 this season and his best-ever at the Pac-12 Championships.
Oregon State, as a team, finished tied for eighth overall at the 2022 championships, shooting a 42-over 1,462. The Beavers ended play with a 4-over 359 on Wednesday.
Alfred Raja picked up his second-best mark in Washington on Wednesday, finishing at par. That followed a 2-under 69 in the first round on Monday. He ended the tournament with an 8-over 292, placing him tied for 28th.
Mateo Fuenmayor was two strokes behind Raja, at 10-over 293. He shot a 5-over 76 on Wednesday. Fuenmayor ended the championships tied for 38th.
Jackson Lake, meanwhile, tied Fuenmayor overall, at 10-over 294. He shot his second round at 1-over 72 on Wednesday, equaling his first on Monday.
Brandon Eyre also finished his best round of the trip on Wednesday, with a 1-over 72. The freshman shot a 13-over 297 over the 72 holes to a tie for 50th.
Sean Kato ended the tournament at 71st. He finished with a 39-over 322 after going with a 10-over 81 on Wednesday.
