GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The Beaver pairs continued a strong fall season as Oregon State women's rowing competed in the 2024 Head of the American on Saturday.

The duo of Lauren Garrett and Annelise Norkitis claimed victory in the women's collegiate pairs for the second-consecutive week while Linda Weitmann and Reese Wyatt (fourth), Charlotte Lightfoot and Sasha Delman (fifth) and Alex Hutchinson and Taylor Jones (ninth) all finished in the top 10.

Out of the 44 pairs to compete in the race, Oregon State had nine boats compete, all of which finished in the top 30.

In the collegiate women's eights race, the Beavers' varsity eight finished third place in a field of 34 entries. The Beav's second varsity eight placed seventh in the same event and second among all non-first varsity eights.

The Beavers' first varsity four took home second place in the collegiate women's four while the second varsity four placed 11^th.

Saturday's regatta was the final head race in OSU's fall season, as the Beavers return to action on Nov. 9 in Corvallis at the Orange and Black Regatta. Registration is now open and can be found by clicking this link.
