Men’s Golf Takes Eighth At The Tindall

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Collin Hodgkinson and Rylan Johnson both finished under par in the third and final round of The Tindall on Tuesday, ending the Oregon State men's golf's team trip North.

The Beavers, as a team, finished the event eighth after posting a 2-under 282 over the final 18 holes of the event held at the par-71, 7,016-yard Aldarra Golf Club.

Hodgkinson led the Beavers with a 2-under 69 on Tuesday. Following his record-breaking day on Monday, he birdied seven more holes in round three to end the trip with a 7-under 206, tying him for sixth, four strokes off the lead.

He led the event with 20 birdies overall.

Johnson had his best round of the event, posting a 1-under 70 to finish at par over the 54 holes. He tallied 11 birdies with five coming Tuesday.

Johnson finished tied for 28^th, just ahead of teammate Brandon Eyre, who was two strokes behind. Eyre, who tied for 34^th, posted an eagle at the par-5 seventh hole. That was his only hole under par and ended the afternoon with a 1-over 72. Eyre finished the trip 2-over at 215.

Bradley Smolinski, in his second collegiate event, finished at par for the second time at The Tindall. He used five birdies Tuesday to equal his first round tally. He shot a 5-over 218 overall, tying for 49^th.

Stanley Lin tallied a 19-over 232 overall and ended the trip in 76^th.
