Hodgkinson In Second Place After 36 Holes At The Prestige

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Collin Hodgkinson will enter the final day of The Prestige in a tie for second, just one shot of the lead, after finishing with a 2-under 69 in the second of three rounds at the event.

He birdied four more holes on Tuesday, and has 10 for the event. He now has 10 rounds under par this year and 19 in his career.

Hodgkinson is tied for second with Washington State's Sam Renner and Florida Atlantic's Jake Hibbert. The trio are just behind Kansas State's Kobe Valociek.

Overall, as a team, Oregon State is shooting a 14-over 492 through the first two days of the event, which is being held at the par-71, 7,129-yard Greg Norman Course at PGA West.

Rylan Johnson heads into the final day tied for 42^nd with a 1-over 143. He tallied a 2-over 73 over the second round of 18.

Bradley Smolinski is tied for 102 with a 10-over 152, Stanley Lin is tied for 105^th with an 11-over 153 and Brandon Eyre is tied for 112^th after shooting a 14-over 156 thus far.
