Johnson Goes 5-Under Par To Wrap Play At The Prestige

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Rylan Johnson had the best round of the day for the Oregon State men's golf team, posting a 5-under 66 on the final day of The Prestige on Wednesday.

Johnson finished with a team-best five birdies and took an eagle at the par-5, 617-yard eighth hole.

His round marked the eighth under par this year and 24^th of his career. He opened the event with a 1-under 70 and finished with a 4-under 209, tying him for 12^th overall.

Johnson was equaled by Collin Hodgkinson, who was under par in the first two rounds and ended with a 2-over 73 in the final round.

Overall, as a team, Oregon State finished with a 21-over 873, tying with Nevada for 20^th at the par-71, 7,129-yard Greg Norman Course at PGA West.

Stanley finished 103^rd with a 14-over 227 after a 3-over 74 on Wednesday. Bradley Smolinski finished 115^th with a 19-over 232 and Brandon Eyre was 117^th with a 21-over 234.
