CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck announced the signing of Australian wing Keira Lindemans on Friday afternoon.
Â
An incoming freshman from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Lindemans will join the Beavers for the 2025-26 season after competing with ATC Academy and in two seasons as an amateur on the Bulleen Boomers of the Australian Big V.
Â
"Keira is a versatile player who brings physicality and length to both sides of the ball. She is an elite defender and brings an aggressive scoring and playmaking presence on offense. Our fans will love her relentless hustle and how hard she competes every moment she is on the floor," Rueck said.
Â
"I chose Oregon State because I believe it's where I can truly grow as both a player and person. I trust Coach Rueck and the entire coaching staff to develop my skill set and push me to be the best I can be," Lindemans said. "I can't wait to get started!"
Â
Lindemans was the 2023 Big V Youth League Defensive Player of the Year and named to the Victoria Metro Under 18 team. She averaged 4.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 16 minutes per game playing against professionals at the Championship level of the Big V League in 2024.
Â
Three games into the 2025 campaign at the Championship level, Lindemans is averaging five points and 7.7 rebounds in 25.95 minutes. She has hit three-of-four attempts from three this season and is shooting 45 percent from the floor.
Â
The Aussie played on the ATC Premier team in the December 2024 Nike Tournament of Champions, starting three of four games against top talent in Phoenix. The incoming freshman scored her tournament-high of 11 points to go with six rebounds, three assists and two steals against Crestwood Prep.
Â
Lindemans joins an Oregon State roster fresh off its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and ninth since 2014 under head coach Scott Rueck. The Beavers return three starters from last season's WCC Championship team.
