CORVALLIS, Ore. – Head coach Lindsey Behonick has announced the transfer of a new student athlete to the Oregon State volleyball team with Bridget Gould, as announced on Friday.
Bridget Gould
North Bend, Ore. (Oregon/Marshfield HS) • Opposite • 5-11
A Beaver State native, Gould was named Oregon's Class 4A Player of the Year in 2023 in her final prep season behind 360 kills. She led her Pirates team to their first state championship in program history in 2022 before capping her prep career with a runner-up finish.
She used a redshirt season in 2024 with Oregon and will come to Corvallis with four years of eligibility.
Her family is no stranger to Beaver athletics, as her grandfather, David Gould, is a former football student-athlete from the 1960s and is a member of the OSU Hall of Fame.
What Coach Behonick says: "We are thrilled to have Bridget in our program. She brings athleticism, a mind for the game, and an excellent all-around skillset. She is passionate about volleyball and excited about integrating into our team culture here at OSU. On her visit, the team immediately loved her and we knew that it was an instant fit. With her grandfather and great uncle in the Hall of Fame for Beaver Football, the transition over to Oregon State just makes sense as the legacy and ties to OSU already run deep. We can't wait to start working with her and know she will add to our program both on and off the court!"
