CORVALLIS, Ore. – Head coach Lindsey Behonick has announced the transfer of a new student athlete to the Oregon State volleyball team with Nathalie Scholz, as announced on Monday.
Nathalie Scholz
Leipzig, Germany (Saint Leo/Euro Akademie Leipzig) • Middle Blocker • 6-6
Joining Oregon State from Saint Leo University, a Division II school in Florida, Scholz will bring a strong work ethic on both sides of the game.
Scholz had a strong performance in the classroom at Saint Leo, being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll in the Sunshine State Conference during the fall 2024 semester.
Prior to joining the college ranks at Saint Leo, Scholz competed for ESA Grimma Volleys and L.E. Volleys. She helped ESA Grimma Volleys to a fourth-place finish in the German 2. Bundesliga Pro in the 2023-24 season.
What Coach Behonick says: "Nathalie is going to be a great addition to our team. Her passion while playing, pursuit to be great, and excitement about Oregon State Volleyball are all reasons we knew she needed to be a Beaver. Her eye work and knowledge of the game are elite, as she has been dominant both offensively and defensively in some of the best competition in Germany. She has an inviting and charismatic personality that will fit in great with the culture of our team, and I know she will thrive as a student-athlete in Corvallis. We are so excited to get her on campus!"
