The Tucson, Ariz., product has been a vital member in the offense throughout her time as an OSU student-athlete, leading the Beavers in aces and among the best in recording kills. Very dependable as well, Rumel has started in every match over the last two seasons. Following the 2024 season, she was named to the All-District Team by Collegiate Sports Communicators for her work in the classroom alongside being named to the WCC's All-Conference team.
Under the direction of head coach Lindsey Behonick, this is Oregon State's first national team selection in program history.
Rumel and the Beavers will start the 2025 season with a neutral battle later this month (Aug. 30) against Stanford in the Long Beach State Tournament in California.
