Oregon State Men’s Golf In First After Day One At The Prestige
February 16, 2026 | Men's Golf
LA QUINTA, Calif. – The Oregon State men's golf team is in first place after 18 holes at The Prestige, held Monday at the PGA West. The Beavers are seven strokes ahead of second-place Oregon in the 24-team event.
Rylan Johnson and Antoine Jasmin occupy first and second place individually to pace the Beavers, who finished with a score of 275 at the par-71 course. Johnson shot a 5-under 66, ending the day with an eagle on the 537-yard 16th hole and four birdies.
Johnson's eagle was one of four on the day.
Jasmin is two shots behind with a 3-under 68 after tallying five birdies over the first 18 holes.
"It's great to continue right where we left off from Hawaii," Oregon State head coach Jon Reehoorn said. "I think we can take what we learned from day two in Hawaii with a slow start and hopefully apply it to tomorrow. We need to be about ourselves and being in complete control of what we do. With two waves, we will get the tougher weather tomorrow. So important that we aren't caught up on what happened today. Let's see where we stand after 36."
Collin Hodgkinson shot a 1-under 70 and he occupies 11th entering tomorrow's second round of action.
Nguyen Anh Minh finished at par and is in 22nd while Stanley Lin is 55th with a 3-over 74.
Round two of The Prestige commences at 6:45 a.m. PT on Tuesday.
