March 24, 2026 | Baseball
The Beavers, who improved to 18-5 on the year, struck early and often, jumping out to a 9-0 lead after 3 1/2 innings. USC (24-2) plated four in the fourth but Oregon State held the Trojans in check the rest of the way.

Oregon State kept on scoring in the fourth. Hubbard and Josh Proctor each doubled to open the inning. Singer then blooped a single to right to get Proctor in from third.
Vazquez provided the game's punctuation mark with a three-run blast off the batter's eye in the ninth for his third long ball of the season.
Connor Mendez worked three innings in relief, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out three. He got the win to improve to 1-1.
Chase Herrell started for USC and took the loss to drop to 2-1. He gave up three runs on a hit and three walks in an inning of work.
