Baseball Announces 2027 Trip To Las Vegas
July 02, 2026 | Baseball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State baseball will head to Las Vegas for its third weekend of play in the 2027 season. The Beavers will play in the Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Â
Oregon State will take on LSU, Arizona State and Iowa March 5-7, with the full schedule to be announced at a later date. OSU will also play BYU on Monday, March 8 in a game that is not a part of the tournament.
Â
The tournament, hosted by Peak Events, LLC, is the first for the Beavers in Las Vegas after playing in Round Rock and Frisco last season. The 2027 Las Vegas Classic is the third tournament on the Beavers' slate, following visits to Surprise, Ariz., and Arlington, Texas.
Â
The Beavers and Sun Devils have met 103 times previously, with Arizona State holding a 56-47 advantage. Oregon State won the last four meetings, all played in 2024, including a 3-2 win in Scottsdale in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament.
Â
Oregon State and Iowa have played the last two seasons, all in neutral-site matchups. The teams squared off in Des Moines in 2025, with the Beavers taking the first two before a series-ending tie. The Beavers then won a 4-3 matchup in Frisco, Texas in 2026.
Â
The Beavers have squared off with LSU nine times, all since 2012. LSU holds a 6-3 advantage and last won a pair of games at the 2023 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional.
Â
Oregon State has played BYU 25 times in its history but the 2027 matchup will be the first since a three-game series at Goss Stadium in 2021. OSU leads the series, 18-7, and has won 11 of the last 12 games versus the Cougars.
