James Allenby Named to PING/GCAA All-America Squad

NORMAN, Okla. James Allenby, a senior who recently concluded his career on the Oregon State men’s golf team, was named to the PING Division I Golf Coaches Association of America All-America honorable mention list the GCAA announced on Friday. It marks the first All-America honor for Allenby and the third time an Oregon State men’s golfer has been selected to the All-America squad.
In addition to Allenby, Anthony Arvidson was an honorable mention in 2001 while Bob Allard was selected to the squad in 1969. Allenby was selected to the PING/GCAA All-Region team in May.
