OREGON STATE
Junior (2001-02): Kristina Rukstelyte saw action in all 32 games…showed much improvement over the course of the year…pulled down five rebounds and matched career-high with two assists at Stanford (1/10)…scored six points and grabbed six rebounds at California (1/12)…had a career-night with 10 points and nine rebounds, including six offensive boards against UC Santa Barbara (1/16)…buried 4-of-6 field goals en route to nine points and corralled five rebounds at Arizona (1/31)…scored a career-high 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting in 16 minutes of action against Oregon (2/16)…canned 25-of-36 free throws for 69-percent, fourth best on the squad…totaled 77 points and 71 rebounds.
Sophomore (2000-01): Kristina played in 10 games, prior to tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee in practice (1/8) following the Pac-10 opener against Oregon…reinjured the same knee she tore her ACL in during summer workouts following her freshman season (5/11)...missed the first game of the season against Portland State while still recovering from off-season knee surgery…buried 9-of-20 field goal attempts for 24 points…scored four points on four occasions, most recently against New Mexico (12/28)…matched her career-high with one blocked shot against Boise State (12/31)…made 6-of-8 free throws…underwent knee surgery on Feb. 15.
Freshman (1999-00): Kristina began her Oregon State career as the youngest player on the squad at 17 years old...played in 24 games...a concussion forced her to miss the Stanford game (1/13)...scored 5 points and collected 2 rebounds in 15 minutes of action in the Arizona State (2/4) and Arizona (2/6) series...had her most productive career game with 7 points vs. Washington (1/22) in 15 minutes of action...played a total of 156 minutes, scored 34 points (1.4 average) and pulled down 26 rebounds (1.1 average)...played solid defense and was strong on the boards...produced 2 blocked shots, 5 steals and 4 assists...had rebound highs of 3 vs. Wichita State (12/10), Colorado State (12/21) and Washington (1/22).
