Tom Fregoso began his OSU career in 2002 after his lengthy tenure at University of Portland. He is currently working with the OSU football and wrestling teams. He also serves as a preceptor for the Masters of Athletic Training students where he gets to share his wisdom and knowledge.
Fregoso served as the head of athletic training at the University of Portland from 1984 to 2003 and as an assistant athletic trainer working with the football program at the University of Utah.
Fregoso received his Bachelor’s Degree in athletic training from Utah in 1981 and earned his master’s in sports psychology from Portland in 1991.
Fregoso and his late wife, Susie, have two sons, Matt and Jake. He is known for his upbeat tunes in the athletic training room and is sought after for landscaping advice.
