OREGON STATE: (2003) Chris begins his career at OSU this fall and will have two years of eligibility as a junior... one of three former North Idaho College players on the team, including Brian Farber and Jake Bachman... coach Taylor's comments: "Chris will be battling it out for time in the midfield. He's quick, hard, and a great passer of the ball."
NORTH IDAHO: As a sophomore, the team went 17-1-4 in 2002, winning the NWAACC Northern Division Championship and finishing third at the conference championships... as a freshman, NIC went 20-4-2 and won the NWAACC Northern Division Championship... team finished third in the conference tournament.
ODP: Idaho State Team.
STING (CLUB): Played for three different club teams, including the Sting, Capitals and Osprey... Sting won state championship in 2002 and the Capitals in 2001... advanced to the regional tournament each of the last three years with the Sting and Capitals... named Player of the Tournament at the Presidents Cup.
MERIDIAN: Lettered two years.
PERSONAL: Son of Terri and Rick Ritter... family includes sisters Stacie (35) and Nicole (23), and brother, Scott (35)... born in Council, Idaho... hobbies include swimming, golf, snowboarding and wakeboarding... chose OSU "because of the atmosphere of the school and the camaraderie of the team."
