OREGON STATE: (2003) Alan is one of 14 returning letterwinners... with three more points, he will move into 10th on OSU's all-time points list... after 34 points last season, he needs 42 this year to become OSU's all-time scoring leader... coach Taylor's comments: "We're looking for Alan to have a very good year. We may be six to seven deep up front, so the combination of players will take some of the pressure off Alan. He's dynamic, has great ability in the air, great ability to finish, and has a chance to be the all-time leading scorer at OSU after only two years." (2002) First-team All-Pac-10 selection... named Pac-10 Player of the Week and to the SoccerAmerica Team of the Week on Sept. 24 after totaling three goals and an assist for seven points in road wins over Marist and Siena... named Pac-10 Player of the Week again on Nov. 10 as well as to the College Soccer News Team of the Week after a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Washington... led Pac-10 with 34 points on 15 goals and four assists... 34 points were seven more than the nearest regular season competitor... led Pac-10 in six regular season offensive categories: shots (72), points (34), goals (15), shots per game (3.79), points per game (1.79), and goals per game (0.79)... 73 shots is a school record... after 20 games, ranks ninth in career goals at OSU with 15... 34 points are the second-highest single-season output in school history, as are his 15 goals... three goals vs. Washington on Nov. 10 was OSU's first hat trick since Oct. 19, 2001... one of two Pac-10 players to record a hat trick this year... three multi-goal games were against Air Force, Marist and Washington on Nov. 10... three game-winning goals tied for fourth in the Pac-10... had a goal and assist in three straight games against Albany, Portland, and St. Mary's... also scored at Washington on Oct. 20, vs. Fresno State on Oct. 27 and Stanford on Nov. 15.
