Inoke (E-no-key) Breckterfield is one of Oregon State's all-time top defensive players, playing end from 1995-98.The last two seasons for current Beaver head coach Mike Riley during his first tenure in Corvallis.He is in his second year as the graduate assistant coach on defense.
Breckterfield was a third-team All-American in 1998 after being named first team All-Pac-10 Conference.In '98 he was also the recipient of the prestigious Morris Trophy, awarded annually to the conference's top defensive lineman.Breckterfield finished his OSU career as the leader for tackles-for-loss (55.5) and sacks (19.5) - he now ranks second in both.
Breckterfield left OSU and had a successful Canadian Football League career with the Toronto Argonauts (1999-2000) and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2001-03).
Breckterfield attended Damien Memorial High School in Honolulu, where he was standout football player and track performer in the shot put.
Inoke and his wife Carol have a 7-year-old son named Kalevi.Carol played soccer for USC from 1996-98 where she also was an all conference selection.Kalevi loves to play football and soccer.
