PERSONAL—Born 7/16/82 in Tarzana, CA...son of Kenneth Farley Sr. and Dorothy Goodman...he has two brothers, Ishmael, 25, and Kaleb, 10...he also has two sisters, Kamille, 23, and Eileen, 13...he is in the College of Liberal Arts and is a sociology major...enjoys reading, video games and playing basketball...Randy Moss is his favorite athlete...setting junior college record with over 26 yards per catch has been his top athletic thrill...selected OSU because, “I always wanted to play in Pac-10 and I wanted to play for great coaches.”
OSU—(2003—Senior)—Kenny has started 13 straight games for OSU at slot receiver and has played in 24 straight games...despite stiff competition during spring drills, Kenny will return for the start of fall camp as the No. 1 slot receiver and hopes to build on his junior season performance...in 24 career games for OSU, Kenny has caught 38 passes for 628 yards (16.5 average) and three touchdowns...he has 665 career all-purpose yards, which includes 37 yards in punt returns as a sophomore in 2001...Kenny is a big target (6-3, 221) and is difficult to defend...he has been a “big lay” receiver based on his career 16.5 average per catch...Kenny has posted career weightlifting bests of 425 in the back squat, 315 in the bench press, 275.6 inthe power clean and 197.6 in the push press...his top vertical jump is 31.5 inches and he has a 4.51 time in the 40.
(2002—Junior)—Kenny has played and started all 13 games for Oregon State as the slot receiver in 2002...he was the second-leading receiver on the team with 29 catches for 526 yards (18.1 average) and three touchdowns, including an 80-yard TD pass vs. Eastern Kentucky, which ties for sixth on the list of Oregon State's longest pass plays...it tied for the fifth longest TD pass play...he opened the season with four catches for a career-best 149 yards and one touchdown vs. Eastern Kentucky...the 149 yards receiving ranks 14th on the Beavers' single-game receiving yardage list...he caught three passes for 28 yards at Temple...caught three passes for 55 yards against UNLV...caught one pass for a 48-yards touchdown pass vs. Fresno State...failed to catch a pass vs. USC and came back with two receptions for 35 yards vs. UCLA...caught three passes for 40 yards at ASU and added four receptions for 42 yards vs. California...caught one pass for 28 yards vs. Arizona and three for 20 yards at Washington...he failed to catch a pass at Stanford...he caught three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Civil War against Oregon...he caught two passes for 14 yards vs. Pittsburgh in the Insight Bowl game...he reported to spring drills listed No. 2 on the depth chart at slot receiver behind Cole Clasen, 2001 starter...Kenny had a tremendous spring and probably made more improvement than any receiver on the depth chart...his spring work earned him the No. 1 spot at slot receiver at the conclusion of spring drills...he gives the Beavers another big receiver with outstanding speed...in the first spring scrimmage, he caught four passes for 67 yards...he caught two for 16 yards in the second scrimmage...he played for the White squad in the Spring Game and was the leading receiver for his team, catching three for 67 yards with a long of 33...during winter conditioning, Kenny posted weightlifting bests of 405 pounds in the back squat, 295 in the bench press, 259 in the power clean and 265 in the push press...he posted a vertical jump best of 29.5 inches.
(2001—Sophomore)—Kenny played in all 11 games as a backup wide receiver for the Beavers in 2001...he caught nine passes for 102 yards (11.3 average)...Kenny's best game was at Washington State when he caught four passes for 52 yards...his first collegiate catch came in his fourth game as a Beaver...he caught one pass for 6 yards vs. Arizona and one for 11 yards at ASU...he caught two passes for 28 yards against Northern Arizona and one for 5 yards at Oregon...he was the sixth-leading receiver on the team...Kenny joined the OSU program for the first time at the start of fall camp on August 8 after signing a letter of intent in early August.
FULLERTON COLLEGE, Fullerton, CA—Kenny played one year of football (2000) at Fullerton College...played for Coach Gene Murphy at Fullerton...earned first-team Mission Conference honors following his freshman season...in 10 games he caught 33 passes for 865 yards and a school record average of 26.2 yards per reception...he also scored 7 touchdowns, including a long of 80 yards.
ARTESIA HIGH SCHOOL, Lakewood, CA—Kenny played two years of football, two years of baseball and one year of basketball at Artesia High School, graduating in 2000...he played defensive end, running back, linebacker and free safety in high school for Coach Jason Arnold...he played centerfield in baseball and forward in basketball...he earned first-time All-Suburban League honors as a senior...following his senior season he played in the 605 all-star game and the CIF vs. City all-star game.
