2008: Shane will see considerable action after a breakout year last season...runs good routes and will be in the rotation.
2007: Made 16 catches for 115 yards, including seven for 57 yards over the last three games...had a career-high four catches at Cincinnati and made three receptions in the Emerald Bowl...made a four-yard catch that set up OSU 2nd-and-goal at the Oregon 1-yard line for the tying score in the Civil War.
2006: Shane saw action and made one reception for one yard vs. Idaho.
COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS: Attended the College of the Canyons in 2005...played with former OSU starting linebacker Joey LaRocque...caught 36 passes for 598 yards and two touchdowns for the 12-1 team...COC advanced to the Southern California title game.
VALENCIA: Morales also lettered as a defensive back and punter...Foothill League Co-MVP...led the team to the Southern Section Division II final...an honors student at Valencia HS and member of the National Honor Society...caught 66 passes for 970 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior...also added 79 tackles and three interceptions...Los Angeles Times First Team safety and All-CIF.
PERSONAL: Born in Glendale, California...son of Kirk and Donna Morales...has two younger sisters...chose OSU because of the "academics, location, coaching staff and former quarterback Matt Moore"...majoring in international business with a minor in speech communications...on track to graduate in June.
