Oregon State swept the Los Angeles schools for the first time since the 2004-05 season when the Beavers defeated UCLA, 85-80, on Dec. 31 and USC, 74-64, on Jan. 2.
The 19-point win was Oregon State's largest margin of victory over USC since it defeated the Trojans by 27 (84-57) on Feb. 4, 1988.
That margin is also the highest in any Pac-12 contest since the Beavers beat Arizona State by 22 (80-58) to open last year's Pac-10 schedule on Dec. 30, 2010.
Eric Moreland had a career-high three steals. He had a pair of thefts in five different games this season, including four of the last five coming into tonight. (CSUB, California, Stanford, Arizona and Arizona State).
With tonight's 78-point output, Oregon State became the first team to score more than 66 points against USC this season. The Trojans had only been giving up 56.9 points per game.
Devon Collier tied a career high with four assists, which he previously achieved against Howard on Dec. 15, 2011 in a 93-72 Oregon State victory.
With 11 boards, Eric Moreland reached double-figures in rebounds for the seventh time this season.
Jared Cunningham (18) and Ahmad Starks (10) both reached double digits in points for the 12th consecutive game.
Cunningham moved into sole possession of fourth place in steals at Oregon State. He had two tonight and now has 186 for his career. Next up is Brent "Bones" Barry who is in third place with 199.
Cunningham also notched a steal for the 22nd consecutive game, which ties him with Gary Payton for the fourth-longest streak in Oregon State history. Dwayne Allen, who had a steal in 24 straight from Jan.-Feb. 1979, is in third place.
The Beavers shot over 50 percent (50.8) for the 11th time this season and are now 10-1 when they reach that mark.
