Oregon State is 7-2 for the second consecutive season. It's the Beavers' best start in back-to-back seasons since starting 7-2 in 1983-84 and 8-1 in 1984-85.
The Beavers have at least 10 steals in four consecutive games after getting 10 against Chicago State.
Oregon State had season highs with 21 free throws and 35 free throw attempts.
Roberto Nelson equaled his career high with 34 points. He set an Oregon State freshman record when he scored 34 at Arizona State on March 5, 2011.
It's the second 30-point game of Nelson's career and the sixth 20-plus point game of his career with three of them this season.
Nelson set a career high with six three-pointers. His previous career best was five in three games, most recently against Grambling State on Dec. 8, 2012. He also set a career high with 10 field goals. His previous best in that category was nine against Grambling State on Dec. 8, 2012.
Devon Collier scored 25 points, just two off his career high of 27 he got against Purdue on Nov. 15 at Madison Square Garden in the 2K Sports Classic. He has scored 20-plus in back-to-back games after going for 23 at Portland State on Wednesday and now has seven 20-point games in his career with four of them this season.
Collier made a career-high 10 field goals and tied a career high with 15 field goal attempts. His previous career best was nine field goals in three games, most recently against Purdue in the 2K Sports Classic on Nov. 15.
Challe Barton had a career-high six assists. His previous career best was four in two games, most recently at Washington State on Dec. 31, 2011. He also played a career-high 27 minutes and tied his career high with three rebounds and three free throws.
Langston Morris-Walker grabbed a career-high three rebounds and took a career-high five field goal attempts.
Jarmal Reid had career highs with four rebounds and 23 minutes.
Victor Robbins had his first career blocked shot.
Olaf Schaftenaar had a career-high two assists.
