Oregon State is 8-2 for the second consecutive season. The Beavers got to 10-2 last season before suffering their third loss.
The Beavers have won four consecutive games to equal the longest winning streak during Craig Robinson's Oregon State coaching career. He has been part of six four-game winning streaks during his time with the Beavers with three coming in his first season (2008-09) and three last season.
Oregon State held Howard to an opponent season-low 54 points. The previous low by a Beaver's opponent was 54 by Grambling State on Dec. 8.
Robinson used his third different starting lineup of the season with Roberto Nelson, Jarmal Reid and Joe Burton in the starting lineup.
Moreland had 14 points and 10 rebounds for his seventh career double-double and fourth this season. Moreland has now scored in double figures nine times in his career, with five this season, and has double-figure boards in 17 career games, with six this season.
