Oregon State has 16 wins for just the third time since 1990. The 2004-05 team advanced to the NIT and finished 17-15, while the 2009-09 team won the CBI championship and finished 18-18. Craig Robinson has been the head coach in two of those three seasons.
Robinson now has 59 wins in three-plus seasons at Oregon State and has more than Hall of Famers Ralph Miller (58) and Slats Gill (57) after their first four seasons in Corvallis.
Oregon State held Utah to 15 first half points, the fewest by a Beavers' opponent in a half this season. Towson had the lowest entering tonight's game with 20 first half points on Nov. 26.
With 17 points, Jared Cunningham moved into 22nd on Oregon State's career scoring list with 1,158 points to pass Jim Jarvis (1,142) and Will Brantley (1,145). Next on the list are Marcel Jones (1,166) and Don Smith (1,176).
Cunningham has now scored in double-figures in 21 consecutive games.
With two steals, Ahmad Starks moved into fourth on Oregon State's sophomore steals with 51 to pass Will Brantley (50). Three outstanding guards are ahead of him on the list: Ray Blume (63), Gary Payton (72) and Jared Cunningham (85).
Eric Moreland had 13 rebounds (just one shy of his career-high) and now has double-digit boards in eight games this season.
Moreland tied a career-high with seven field goal attempts. He also took seven against Vanderbilt on Nov. 21 in the championship game of the TicketCity Legends Classic.

Ahmad Starks went 3-of-5 from three-point land and has made 7-of-10 from beyond the arc the past two games.
