Harrison also placed first in the 500 freestyle at 4:53.65.
“I think we did really well today,” Harrison said. “We came out here with the mindset that we were going to fight hard and race them all the way to the finish, and I think we did that. We kept pushing all the way through the end.”

“We were faster than we've been in the last two meets, and those are the steps that we need to take,” said head coach Larry Liebowitz. “We need to continue learning. Utah did some things better than we did, and we need to learn from that.”
The Beavers will return to action when they host Stanford on Oct. 25. The meet has been moved to Osborn Aquatic Center.
