
OSU's Bid for Perfect Season Ends at Wyoming

Laramie, Wyo. - Oregon State's bid for an undefeated regular season ended on Friday when the 17th-ranked Beavers fell 21-17 to No. 19 Wyoming before a crowd of 733 at the UniWyo Sports Complex,
The Beavers (11-1, 6-0 Pac-12) led 14-3 after five bouts but Wyoming (9-4) won four of the last five and got two key pins to hand OSU its first loss since an 18-16 setback to Virginia Tech at last year's National Duals on Feb. 16, 2014. OSU had won 14 straight over two seasons since then.
Redshirt freshmen Devin Reynolds (141) and senior Alex Elder (157) earned bonus points for the Beavers with major decisions. Redshirt freshmen Jack Hathaway (133) and Abraham Rodriguez (149) and senior Taylor Meeks (184) also earned decisions for OSU.
OSU concludes the dual-meet season at unranked Air Force at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. They then have two full weeks to prepare for the Pacific-12 Conference Championships, set for 10:30 a.m. March 1 at Gill Coliseum.
Advance all-session passes for the Pac-12 championships are now on sale at the Gill Coliseum ticket office, by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS or by visiting the ticket area on osubeavers.com.
The first session will start at 10:30 a.m.; the second session will begin at 3:30 p.m. and includes the 5 p.m. championship round. The ticket office will open one hour before each session and the coliseum will be cleared between sessions.
All-session tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for seniors (62+) and students (3-18). Individual-session tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students, and will only be sold the day of the event.
All-session tickets will also be available the day of the event. There will be no group sales.
