Oregon State gets the home season underway against Arizona State
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Beaver Swim will host Arizona State in the first home meet of the 2018-19 campaign. The meet is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, October 5th at Osborn Aquatic Center.
The Beavers are coming off of the intrasquad Orange and Black Meet last Saturday.
"I think being able to look back at how we prepared and raced at the Orange and Black meet has been good for us in terms of getting prepared for this weekend," said Beaver head coach Jennifer Buffin.
The meet will be the first Pac-12 Conference meet of the season for the Beavers. It will be the first time the Beavers have swam against an outside team since Sept. 14th against Nevada.
"I'm excited for this first home meet. (Arizona State) has done a really good job in the last few years building their program and competing," Buffin said. "For us, it's about continuing to do what we're doing and executing our race plans. It's a shorter turnaround for us, but I think the whole team is excited and is going to use their energy from last week to push themselves in the pool."
