Beavers Ready For NCAA Regional Action

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team will compete at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals for the second consecutive year, this time May 7-9 in Madison, Wis.

The Beavers enter the regional as the No. 14 seed in the 18-team field, and will need to finish in the top six of the regional to advance to the NCAA Championships.
Â
This is the first time Oregon State has made it to postseason in consecutive years since 2000-2001. The Beavers finished seventh last year in Lubbock, Texas, their best-ever finish at NCAA Regionals.

Madison Regional
When: Monday, May 7 – Wednesday, May 9
Where: Madison, Wis.
Course: Par-72, 6,313-yard University Ridge Golf Course
Field: 18 teams and 6 individuals
Format:Â 54 holes of stroke play (18 holes each day)
Tee Times: 8 a.m. CT (6 a.m. PT) each day

BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of senior Susie Cavanagh, junior Olivia Benzin, sophomores Mari Nishiura and Nicole Schroeder, and freshman Ellie Slama.
