Men’s Golf Heads To Carmel To Close The Fall

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team, fresh off a tournament victory in Corvallis earlier in October, closes out its fall slate Monday and Tuesday at the Cal Poly Invitational.

Jackson Lake is coming off a second-place finish in Corvallis, while Brandon Eyre (fifth) and Rylan Johnson (tied for ninth) all placed in the top-10 at the event.

OSU returns to the event after tying for ninth last season.

FIELD (15): Oregon State, Cal Poly, California, Colorado State, Duke, Jacksonville, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon, SMU, UCLA, USC, San Diego, San Francisco and Toledo.

COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,138-yard Preserve Golf Club in Carmel, Calif.

BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will be Jackson Lake, Brandon Eyre, Rylan Johnson, Mateo Fuenmayor and Nicolas Quintero.

FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.

TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start both days of the tournament, starting at 8:30 a.m. PT.

LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on golfstat.com.
