Men’s Golf Heads To The East Coast For The Williams Cup

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State competes in its fourth tournament of the fall when the Beavers head to the Williams Cup hosted by North Carolina. The three-day event gets underway Sunday at the par-72, 7,364-yard Eagle Point Golf Club.
Rylan Johnson is coming off a Trysting Tree course-round 9-under-61 at the Oregon State Invitational nearly two weeks ago. He finished second at the event.
Johnson was preceeded by Collin Hodgkinson, who set the Oregon State single-round record with a 10-under-61 at The Tindall in Washington in late September. He is averaging 69 strokes per round this year, and has already posted five under par. He has finished in the top-10 of all three OSU events this fall.
FIELD (13): Oregon State, North Carolina, Arizona State, Auburn, Augusta, Florida, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, UNCW, North Florida, Notre Dame and New Mexico.
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,364-yard Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's contingent will include Rylan Johnson, Collin Hodgkinson, Bradley Smolinski, Brandon Eyre and Stanley Lin.
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Tee times begin at 5:15 a.m. PT (8:15 in North Carolina). The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on GolfStat.com.
