Beavers Drop Game To Huskies

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's basketball team fell to Washington 67-55 Saturday evening at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore.
Jordan Pope led the Beavers with 19 points and four assists. Michael Rataj had 13 points, eight rebounds and a pair of steals.
Tyler Bilodeau had seven points and six rebounds, while Dexter Akanno had six points and three boards.
As a team, the Beavers out-scored the Huskies 33-25 in the second half.
Washington hit four of its first five shots to open up an early 10-3 lead. The Huskies scored 12 unanswered points to go in front 24-9.
UW led 42-22 at the half.
Oregon State scored the first nine points of the second frame to get back within 11. The Beavers continued to battle from there, but the Huskies took the win by 12.
Keion Brooks Jr. led Washington with 23 points, while Sahvir Wheeler had 15.
Oregon State will hit the road on Wednesday to take on Arizona State, before returning home Saturday to take on Oregon in the Rivalry Series presented by Safeway-Albertsons, PacificSource Health Plans, Your Local Toyota Dealers and First Interstate Bank.
