Beavers to Compete at IRA National Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Men's Rowing opens its weekend at the IRA National Championships on Friday on Mercer Lake.
The Beavs Varsity 8 opens the day at 5:40 a.m. PT against UCSD, Cornell, Cal, Yale and Stanford while the 2V8 starts against Penn, Princeton, Yale, Navy and Jacksonville. The 3V8 will compete with Syracuse, Washington, BU and Georgetown.
The races will be streamed and live results will be available through Regatta Timing. Heat sheets are also available on the Regatta Timing website and will be updated throughout the day for fans looking for the next race for OSU.
The Beavers have competed in every IRA Championship since 2013, and have finished as high as fourth at the event (2002).
Oregon State placed third in the team standings at Pac-12 Championships, marking the third-straight year that OSU have earned third. The Beav Varsity 8 and JV8 both finished fourth in the event, while the Varsity 4 and 3V8 placed third.
