
Pac-12 Slate Opens Friday

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Heading back out on the road, the Oregon State wrestling team will open Pac-12 competition at 17th-ranked Little Rock on Friday evening.
The dual will mark the fifth matchup of seven on the season against a ranked opponent, including the third consecutive to open the 2025 portion of the campaign.

Rankings reflect latest poll from Intermat
Back to the Pac
• Oregon State starts Pac-12 competition on Friday against Little Rock on the road
• For the fourth time in the Pendleton era, the Beavers will open conference play against Little Rock.
• Dating back five seasons (2020/21), Oregon State has opened the Pac-12 season against the Trojans on four instances. Last season was the outlier, as OSU started against CSU Bakersfield.
• The Beavers are undefeated - 4-0 - in Pac-12 openers in the Pendleton era.
Inside the Matchup
• Oregon State and Little Rock will meet for the sixth time in history.
• Despite dropping last year's meeting in Hillsboro, Ore., the Beavers hold a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series.
• The last time in Little Rock, OSU took nine of 10 matches (even a ranked-vs.-ranked at 174) to claim a decisive 35-3 win.
• While this is the sixth all-time meeting, it is just the second in Arkansas. The 2020-21 season's meeting took place at Oklahoma State's Gallagher-Iba Arena at a quad meet with Oklahoma State and Chattanooga.
Battle Tested
• The Beavers' 2024-25 season has not let up in terms of toughness.
• Of the five opponents met in duals, four have been ranked and each of those three have been in the top five of Intermat's rankings.
• Little Rock - checking in at 17th in the latest InterMat poll - is the fifth ranked opponent of the season and third consecutive on the schedule.

• Despite being slotted at 149 lbs. this week, he's ranked in the polls at 157.

• Oregon State tallied three major decisions but could not overcome 30th-ranked Wyoming last week in a home dual.
• CJ Hamblin highlighted the day with his major over a ranked Cowboy, 17th-ranked Jared Hill.

• A familiar longtime foe - Stanford - will visit Corvallis for the first time as an ACC opponent on the 31st.
