Beavers Open Fall Season with Pair of Top Three Finishes
November 02, 2025 | Men's Rowing
SEATTLE, Wash. – Oregon State men's rowing competed at Head of the Lake on Sunday, posting second, third and fifth place finishes in the team's first action of the fall season.
The Beavers' top boat was in the first race of the day, starting right at 8 a.m. Coxed by Tamsyn Adams, OSU was three seconds out of second place entering West Montlake, but stepped up down the stretch to turn a deficit into advantage, taking second place with a 10 second difference ahead of third; the boat finished behind reigning IRA National Champions Washington.
Kaelyn Peterson coxed the 2V8+, which took off just three minutes later, as OSU was neck-and-neck with the University of Victoria early on but once again pulled away in the latter portion of the race to finish six second ahead, taking third place behind British Columbia and UW.
In the 3V8+, Oregon State placed fifth with a 15:53.565.
Beaver men's rowing will complete its fall season with the annual Orange and Black Regatta on Nov. 8 at the Oregon State Boathouse. Registration for the event is now open and supporters can visit https://beav.es/OB2025 to let the team know they're coming.
