November 09, 2025 | Women's Volleyball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – After dropping the first, Oregon State volleyball won three-straight sets to seal a 3-1 victory over LMU on senior day at Gill Coliseum.
Annika Hester tallied her second-consecutive double-double against the Lions, finishing with 13 kills and 13 digs to go with eight total blocks (five solo) and three aces. Jackie Matias joined Hester in the double-double club, putting up 38 assists and 13 digs, while Maeli Cormier had 12 kills.
Alana Marrs' fantastic freshman season continued Sunday as the Ellensburg, Wash., native hit .556 on her way to 12 kills, notching her 10th match with 10 or more kills this season. Through 23 appearances (81 sets) in 2025, Marrs now leads the team in total blocks with 87 while sitting in second for points per set (3.07) and third for kills (190).
LMU won the first set 25-23 but Oregon State responded in a big way in the second, which featured a pair of Kamana'o Goldstein aces to help the Beavs rattle off an 8-0 run that put the team up 10-2; Goldstein finished with four aces on Sunday, which set a new career high.
After a back-and-forth third, the Beavers pulled out to a huge lead in the fourth set that got as large as 12 after a Cormier kill made it 21-9. LMU battled back, however, bringing it within three before OSU closed the door on a Lauren Rumel kill.
