Oregon State Men’s Rowing Opens Spring Season at Redwood Shores

SAN CARLOS, Calif. – Oregon State men's rowing will open its spring season this weekend, competing in the Redwood Shores Invitational in San Carlos, Calif.
Hosted by Stanford, the Beavers will have boats in action on both Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday morning with the varsity eights and concluding late Sunday morning with the 3V8+ race; race opponents across the two-day regatta include Stanford, Santa Clara, California, Drexel, and UC San Diego.
Now in the 10th spring led by Head Coach Gabe Winkler, Oregon State competed in three fall regattas, placing 10th at Head of the Charles and having both the first and second eights place second in their races at the Head of the Lake on Nov. 3.
Last spring, OSU placed third at the Pac-12 Championships and qualified for the 2024 IRA National Championships, placing 20th.
Beaver men's rowing returns to action on April 5, competing in the second iteration of the Redwood Shores Invitational.
