Stiles Caps NCAAs With Sixth-Place Finish
March 22, 2025 | Wrestling
PHILADELPHIA – Ethan Stiles concluded his first NCAA Championships with a sixth-place finish and All-American honors.
The redshirt freshman dropped both of his decisions of the day – a fall to Shayne Van Ness and a decision to Lachlan McNeil in the fifth-place match – to close out his run in Philadelphia.
Stiles finished his debut season at Oregon State with a 17-8 mark that saw multiple six-bout winning streaks across the 149-lb. and 157-lb. weight classes.
Last night, he became the sixth Beaver in the Pendleton era (2020/21-pres.) to earn All-American honors.
Oregon State concluded the event with 18.5 points.
The Beavers' championship season concludes following the 25th Pac-12 team title in program history and a trio winnining individual conference crowns.
