OSU Men’s Rowing to Compete in 2025 IRA National Championship

CAMDEN, N.J. – Oregon State men's rowing is headed east to compete in the 2025 IRA National Championship Regatta this weekend on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
Racing starts on Friday with the varsity eight competing at 5:32 a.m. Pacific / 8:32 a.m. Eastern, the 2V8 at 6:28 / 9:28 and 3V8 rounding out the day's action with its race at 6:44 / 9:44. A livestream will be available on Overnight and live results can be found here.
Beaver men's rowing was last in action on May 18 when it finished third at the inaugural Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rowing Championship, totaling 47 points to best Stanford (42), UC San Diego (33), Gonzaga (28), Santa Clara (26) and San Diego (seven), finishing behind Washington (68) and California (69).
Soon after the regatta's conclusion, it was announced that Quinn Baker and Jake Edelstein had earned a spot on the MPSF All-Conference team, with the pair of sophomores both playing pivotal roles in the Oregon State varsity eight this season.
In the final regular season edition of the IRCA Coaches Poll, OSU's top boat came in at No. 19, with the 2V8 at No. 21 and the 3V8 earning Oregon State's highest ranking at No. 16.
By earning its spot in the 2025 IRA National Championship Regatta, OSU has now extended its streak of postseason appearances to 13 years, having competed in every IRA Championship since 2013.
