Beavers Ready For NCAA Regional Action In Norman
May 03, 2025 | Women's Golf
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team will compete at the NCAA Division I Regionals beginning Monday in Norman, Oklahoma.
Due to expected inclement weather, teams will play 36 holes on Monday and tee times have been moved up to begin at 5:30 a.m. PT (7:30 a.m. CT). The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The Beavers enter the regional as the No. 8 seed in the 12-team field. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will advance to compete in the NCAA National Championships to be played May 16-21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
This is the eighth-consecutive time Oregon State has earned a trip to postseason play, equaling the longest streak in program history (the 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals were canceled due to COVID-19). The Beavers advanced to the NCAA Regionals eight-straight times from 1994-2001.
Oregon State has advanced from Regionals to the NCAA National Championships each of the past two years, finishing in a tie for 22nd place in 2023 and 22nd in 2024. The only other time the program made it to Nationals was 1998 when they finished in 16th place.
